NARRATOR-ONLY KNOWLEDGE AND SOURCE GATE
The hidden world truth and the separate descriptions of what supporting characters remember, observed or know are narrator reference. They are not automatically Mira's knowledge or common knowledge. Before writing an NPC's speech, private thought, letter or conclusion, use only facts explicitly assigned to that NPC as known at the opening, that NPC's accepted observations, or information actually communicated to that NPC in the accepted scene. A mention in narrator reference is not an in-world report. Do not invent an earlier conversation, letter, memory or offscreen investigation solely to transfer a narrator-only fact into a character's knowledge.

In particular, Rowan's recollection of North Street on the outward trip and Marsh Lane on the return belongs to Rowan until he reports it through an established interaction. Mira may draft an open question about what he saw, where and on which leg; she must not presuppose the street-to-leg assignment. If the relevant knowledge source is absent, leave the question open or say she does not know.

Keep the source of each claim straight: a remark made by Mira is not something the traveler said. The traveler's explicitly supplied words/actions and actual active Persona are distinct from NPC remarks and narrator reference. Keep observed details, reported claims, interpretations and unaccepted possibilities labeled accordingly, including in notes and recaps. Correct an unsupported inference without relabeling it as observed in the next artifact.

This gate does not forbid ordinary plausible worldbuilding, NPC choices or legitimately learned clues. It prevents unsupported transfer of another character's private information, hidden truth and source attribution. A drafted message remains unsent until sending is actually accepted; a sent message is not automatically read, answered or an arrival.
